As proud National Trust life members, we’re passionate about bringing history to life. Through engaging content, we aim to educate, inform, and inspire others — not only to follow our channels, but to walk in our footsteps and discover these incredible places for themselves.

With over 35 years of experience visiting National Trust properties, we offer a rich, authentic, and deeply personal perspective. We love to ‘walk where others have walked’—often retracing the very steps of monarchs and key figures from English history.

We still feel a fresh buzz of excitement every time we visit a new place — but there’s something equally special about returning to old favourites. These familiar spots let us relive treasured memories, especially those shared with our three children as they grew up.

As you get to know us, you’ll see that we’re passionate about excellence in everything we do. Becoming content creators is a new chapter for us. While our backgrounds in digital marketing and education definitely help, we’re still learning and growing with every step of this new journey.

We love following others and sharing in their journeys — it inspires and enhances our own. We’re learning so much from those with more experience and are truly grateful for the hints, tips, and guidance shared across the social space. We don’t want to create in a bubble — we’re here to build genuine connections with like-minded people who share our passion.

Finally, this isn’t a short-term plan — we’re in it for the long haul! Before committing to National Trust life membership, we even calculated how many years we’d need to see if we could reach them all. We’re hoping for many more decades of discovery ahead. While we’ve already explored nearly 50 locations, there are hundreds more waiting — and though we may not reach them all, we’re certainly going to give it our best shot!
